A 30 feet high waterfall is located near Manali in a beautiful quaint village, Jana. To reach this waterfall one needs to trek through dense deodar and pine trees amidst snow-capped mountains. The climb is easier compared to others in the region and can be completed by beginner-level hikers too. One may find a wooden bridge laid perpendicular to the direction of the Jana waterfall which trekkers use to walk across.

Enjoy having some snacks, a cup of tea, and a plate of magi at the stalls near the waterfall. The perfect time to visit this waterfall is between September and June when Manali witnesses the winter season. March to May is the summertime and is also considered apt for visiting Jana Waterfall. Avoid visiting in June month as it is the onset of monsoon season and there is a chance of landslide.
