Pay a visit to one of the topmost places, Kamna Devi temple located in Shimla and was built by Rana of Junga. Kamna Devi temple is devoted to the goddess Kali. Numerous devotees from every corner of India come here to take blessings every year. The priest offers two-time aarti one early morning at 6 am and the next one at 6 pm.

This beautiful temple is surrounded by marvelous mountains, picturesque valleys, and meadows. Kamna Devi temple is situated almost 6kms away from Shimla Hill station. There is a strong belief that the goddess Kali fulfills the desires of all her devotees who travel up the hill and offer prayers at the temple. Apart from its religious significance, this place is famous among nature lovers.

There is a picnic spot close to the temple premises to spend some time with your family members. You can plan a visit here between March to June when the weather is quite salubrious. October to February is another good time to visit the Kamna Devi temple. Avoid visiting during the time of monsoon season which is between July to September.
