Commissioned in the year 1977, Pandoh Dam is an embankment dam that is located at a distance of 10kms from Manali. The man-made lake created by this dam attracts numerous travelers. It is indeed one of the fantastic locations for clicking good pictures. This dam is constructed on the Beas river and the major purpose of this dam is hydroelectric power generation.

This dam is set amidst gorgeous settings. This place is perfect for bird watchers as one can witness the exotic migratory bird species taking refuge in the reservoir.
